Keep a blog so search engines can catch key words and get your site listed with a higher ranking for your particular genre. Another idea in having a blog is to keep customers up to date with new products and features.
Dynamic Theming & Graphics:
The way I get you a professional web designer's look and feel, is to outsource it. I work with a site called Template Monster.com to get you a theme that comes included in some of the web packages I offer. I can offer you a number of great looks, layouts and graphical interfaces from a choice of around 350 distinct, dynamic, high-end theme templates. The advantage of going through me is to get more customization from a template at a cost lower than anyone else.--I can modify anyone of the templates you choose to suit your specific needs, both on an aesthetic and functional level.
Note: Not all theme templates are guaranteed to be able to be totally customizable, nor is any theme completely 100% modifiable. Therefore, I advise that we have a full discussion regarding exactly what you need, (not to mention an itemized contract) before we select the particular theme template you want. Let me stress this: I do not offer websites that are 100% customizable. Part of the reason I am able to remain low-cost is due to fact that the websites I offer are somewhat less custom built than that of a web firm. But do keep in mind that they're pretty darn close, and I'd say on average fit the bill to be about at least 80% customizable, and more often than not, come close to getting 90% of what the client wanted.
Contact Forms w/ Advanced Options:
Don't use that old pop up email system. Use a nice looking in-line styled contact form. It's much easier to use and sends confirmation messages to your client's email and keeps track of statistics as to who is contacting you.
Members w/ User Permissions:
Have people login to your site, to become members--it's a great way to draw people in and get involved with your site and its products. Once they've become a member they can receive personalized updates and you can restrict literally anything you want them to see or not, on your website.

Advanced Search:
Allow clients to come to your site and be able to find specific products via specific key words, instead of having them go through a labyrinth of options and categories.
Drop Down Menus:
Don't be restricted to simple links, drop down menus make your site far more navigable, and hence, far more usable. They also look better and can even fade or slide, which looks professional.
On-Site Ads via Blocks:
Blocks are a Drupal CMS element which allows (as you can see here on my site at the very bottom) you to put up block oriented web ads rich with images of your choosing alongside text which is a far cry ahead of simple text links the customer might not even see. I have block web ads on my site that come up no matter what, even when the user has a site error, they get more advertising. This also means that the user is never without at least some content you want them to see.
Web Forms:
Who wants to simply read something and get information like a lecture, when customers could fill out a form to interact with their desired interest? This is why they have come to your site, and any information you want to know about them can be collected in a simple web form. Spice it up with rich graphics and make it fun for them.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is an off-site tracking system that can be hooked up to your website to track hits, browser sources, time of visits, average time spent per page, etc., from your visitors. Be able to know everything about your potential clients, down to the city and town they are from, from any part of the world!
Image Editing:
Includes cropping, resizing, and putting borders around images or photos.
Image Enhancement:
Includes any retouching, replacement of backgrounds, smoothing, texturing, etc., of images or photos.
Audio Playback MP3s
Are you a musician in need of a site that plays your music with a single click? I offer MP3 Audio Players that can be displayed and play directly from your website for buyers to hear your music before they buy it!

I offer a low-cost site-creation with everything functionally you'll get from a web design firm for a fraction of the cost. Most of the time, the bells and whistles you pay for aren't all that worth it anyway, unless you have a large scale budget.
